My Floor Inspection Inc. is an independent certified flooring inspection and forensic consulting firm based in Los Angeles, California. We serve residential and commercial clients throughout Southern California, with nationwide expert witness consulting available.
Company History
My Floor Inspection Inc. was established to fill a critical need in the flooring industry for truly independent, third-party flooring inspections. Unlike contractors, retailers, manufacturers, or installers, our role is not to sell, install, or repair flooring. Our purpose is to provide objective, evidence-based inspections and professional forensic consulting using recognized industry standards and scientific testing methods.
Our commitment to independent evaluations means we have no affiliation with flooring contractors, retailers, manufacturers, or insurance companies. Every inspection follows standards-based protocols from the NWFA, FCITS, NALFA, IFCII, and ASTM International. We utilize calibrated instruments for moisture diagnostics, including ASTM F2170 in-situ relative humidity testing and ASTM F1869 calcium chloride testing.
Our forensic documentation is prepared to professional standards suitable for use in dispute resolution, insurance claims, warranty matters, and expert witness consulting. We serve residential and commercial clients throughout Southern California, with nationwide consulting available for legal matters outside our direct service area.

Expert Witness Experience
My Floor Inspection Inc. provides expert witness consulting for flooring-related legal matters, including construction defect cases, insurance disputes, warranty claims, and installation disputes. Our forensic inspection reports are prepared to professional standards suitable for use in mediation, depositions, and court proceedings.
Expert witness matters are handled under a retainer agreement that includes 10 hours of service unless otherwise discussed. We work directly with attorneys, insurance adjusters, and property owners to provide objective, evidence-based findings.
